Heavy-Duty Metal Drivetrain

A capable rally raid truck needs a drivetrain built for more than shelf duty.

The DKR-4 incorporates heavy-duty metal components throughout critical areas of the drivetrain, including:

• Metal ring gears
• Metal pinion gears
• Metal transmission gears
• HD metal axles
• HD metal outdrives
• HD metal driveshafts

These components provide the durability needed for regular trail running and mixed-terrain driving while adding mechanical substance beneath the truck's scale exterior.

Remote-Operated 2-Speed Transmission

• One of the defining features of the DKR-4 is its remote-operated 2-speed transmission with neutral.
• Rather than limiting the truck to one fixed driving characteristic, the 2-speed gearbox expands its usable performance range.
• Use the appropriate range when negotiating slower, more technical terrain, then shift when the trail opens up and additional wheel speed is desired.
• The system helps give the FORTIS the versatility to transition between scale trail driving and faster rally-inspired running without sacrificing the mechanical character of the platform.

Long-Travel Suspension with Front & Rear Anti-Roll Bars

• Rally raid terrain rarely stays consistent.
• The DKR-4's long-travel suspension is designed to keep the chassis working as the truck moves across uneven dirt, gravel, rocks, and broken terrain.
• To complement the suspension system, HobbyPlus equips both the front and rear axles with factory-installed anti-roll bars.

68mm Rally-Inspired Tires

• The FORTIS receives a newly developed rally-inspired tire package designed specifically around the character of the truck.
• Each corner is equipped with a 68mm rally-pattern tire paired with a 1.3-inch beadlock-style wheel, providing an aggressive rally raid appearance while giving the truck an all-terrain footprint suitable for a variety of surfaces.
