One of the most popular tools in 1/10 oval racing is the commonly known "foam buster". The options out there are pretty limited in terms of size, so we made our own, that caters specifically to the Mini genre. Optimized for Losi Mini-B / Mini-T 2.0 sized tires, our "Tire Tenderizer" has 3 adjustable slots to adjust the tension of the wheels onto your tire. The roller wheels are made from a durable polyurethane with full ball bearings. The sides are milled from 3mm smoke gray acrylic.
The purpose of a tire tenderizer/foam buster is to help break-in foam inserts without putting premature wear and tear on your car's drive-train or tires. Simply use the appropriate sized drill-bit and mount up your tire to a handheld electric drill or drill press, adjust the wheels to the desired tension, tighten the wingnuts on the tenderizer and start breaking in your foam inserts.
